Theoretical program
Learning theory with PADI eLearning is a convenient way to prepare for the Resci Diver course at your own pace. Thanks to the online platform, you can learn whenever and wherever you want, using interactive materials, videos and quizzes. Theory learning focuses on developing the ability to prevent diving problems and respond effectively in emergency situations. I will prepare theory lessons for practical exercises performed during swimming sessions or in open water.
Confined water training
During the Rescue Diver swimming pool classes, you will practice 10 basic rescue skills:
- Tired diver
- Panicked diver
- Assistance from shore, boat, pier – responding diver
- A diver with problems underwater
- Missing diver
- Retrieving an unresponsive diver to the surface
- Unresponsive diver at the surface
- Exiting an unresponsive diver from the water
- First aid for barotrauma and administration of oxygen
- Help from shore, boat, pier – unresponsive diver on the surface.
Practical activities in open water
Open water diving is the most important part of the Rescue Diver course, during which you will put into practice everything you have previously learned during the simulation of diving accidents based on 2 rescue scenarios:
- Scenario 1 – Unresponsive diver underwater
- Scenario 2 – Unresponsive diver at the surface
We carry out open water diving in Poland or Egypt.
We recommend Egypt, Dahab – because warm water, visibility at 40m and the richness of the underwater world is a stunning and wonderful experience for divers starting their adventure with diving because we dive on the reef with turtles and Nemo fish.
In Poland, we dive at 2 professional dive centres:
Ślesin near Konin Honoratka Base – There is a diving base on site, where you can come with your family or an accompanying person, and at the bottom of the reservoir there is a sunken MI 29 helicopter, wrecks of boats, cars and many other attractions.
Jaworzno on the so-called Excavators – a flooded quarry, reminiscent of Croatia with clear, clear water. At the bottom of the quarry there are sunken: 2 powerful mining excavators – like in Bełchatów, the wreck of the Wilhelm ship and many other attractions.
Equipment
We take to the swimming pool – flip-flops, a towel, a swimming cap, a bottle of water and something to eat.
We provide a professional set of diving equipment for the duration of the course (mask, snorkel, fins, BCD, regulator, cylinder, diving suit, diving computer).
We have equipment adapted for children and teenagers.
We use light 10l diving cylinders so as not to strain our spines. during training classes.
