What will you learn?

The Discover Scuba Diving program is the beginning of an underwater adventure and the answer to the question whether it is worth pursuing an international basic diving course with a PADI certificate.

During the program, you will take your first breath under water, become familiar with the equipment and feel the state of weightlessness that accompanies diving.

If after the classes you decide to continue your education on a basic diving course (Open Water Diver), the price of the DSD program will be deducted from the course price.

Additional information

Schedule

Your first dive is an adventure divided into:

Step 1. Discussion of diving, installation of diving equipment

Step 2. 1 hour of diving, some exercises, lots of fun

Step 3. Summary of the underwater adventure and the decision to continue education on a PADI-certified basic diving course.

Confined water training

The lesson takes place in controlled conditions in the swimming pool, during which you will make your first immersion under the supervision of an instructor.

During the lesson you will perform several basic exercises such as:

  • Breathing through a breathing machine,
  • Buoyancy control and the feeling of weightlessness – you can float freely under water, which gives the impression of flying, similar to that experienced by astronauts in space. Correct balance allows you to swim effortlessly in the water and feel completely light.
  • Removing water from the mask,
  • Moving underwater.

Equipment

We take to the swimming pool – flip-flops, a towel, a swimming cap, a bottle of water and something to eat.

We provide a professional set of diving equipment for the duration of the course (mask, snorkel, fins, BCD, regulator, cylinder, diving suit, diving computer).

We have equipment adapted for children and teenagers.

We use light 10l diving cylinders so as not to strain our spines. during training classes.

What comes next?

After completing the DSD program, if you like diving, the next stage is the basic Open Water Diver course consisting of 5 dives in swimming pool waters and 4 dives in open waters, after which you obtain a certificate allowing you to dive up to 18 m.

If after the classes you decide to continue your education on the OWD course, the price of the DSD program will be deducted from the price of the OWD course.
