Theoretical program
During the theoretical part, you will learn the philosophy and structure of the Emergency First Response program, the duties of the EFR Instructor and the standards of training.
You will learn how to prepare presentations, transfer knowledge in an engaging way and adapt the teaching method to the needs and experience of participants.
The principles of organizing courses, using instructor materials, keeping documentation and registering participants will also be discussed.
Practical classes
During practical classes, you will practice conducting briefings, skills demonstrations, rescue exercises and emergency scenarios.
You will lead portions of the training, observe other participants as they perform exercises, and learn to provide effective and motivating feedback.
Classes are carried out using phantoms, an AED training defibrillator, personal protective equipment and materials for dressing injuries.

Emergency Oxygen Provider
Expand your training offer with a course in administering emergency oxygen.
The program prepares participants to recognize diving-related problems and to safely use an oxygen set in an emergency situation.
As an instructor, you can teach, among other things:
✅ recognizing symptoms of diving injuries and diseases,
✅ operating the oxygen set,
✅ selecting appropriate masks and methods of administering oxygen,
✅ dealing with breathing and non-breathing victims,
✅ safe storage and preparation of oxygen equipment.
This is a valuable extension for diving instructors, diving centers and tour operators.
What comes next?
After obtaining the EFR Instructor certificate, you can start conducting first aid courses on your own for individual clients, companies, schools, organizations and the diving community.
You can also expand your qualifications with further programs such as EFR Care for Children and emergency oxygen courses.
The next stage of professional development may be gaining training experience and obtaining qualifications EFR Instructor Trainer, allowing the training of future EFR Instructors.
