Purpose of the course
Learning to provide first aid in emergencies. The course is intended not only for divers, but for anyone who wants to be able to respond effectively in situations that threaten life or health.

- Basic first aid and situation assessment.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in adults, children and infants.
- Use of an AED (defibrillator).

Requirements
- No requirement for prior diving certification.
- Minimum age: 12 years.

Theoretical program
Learning theory with PADI eLearning is a convenient way to prepare for an EFR course at your own pace. Thanks to the online platform, you can learn whenever and wherever you want, using interactive materials, videos and quizzes. You will learn the principles of first aid in life-threatening emergencies and beyond.
Practical classes
During practical classes, participants practice real first aid scenarios – from resuscitation on phantoms, through the use of AED, to dressing wounds and immobilizing injuries. All exercises take place in a safe and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on confidence and calm in stressful situations. It’s a practice that can actually save lives.

This is an extension of the EFR course, focused on first aid for children and infants. The perfect choice for parents, teachers, caregivers and anyone who works with children.

The Emergency Oxygen Therapy course is a short, specialized program teaching you how safely administer oxygen in a health emergency, especially in divers.
What you will learn:
✅ Recognizing symptoms of diving diseases (e.g. DCS)
✅ Operation of oxygen set and masks
✅ Techniques for administering pure oxygen to various types of injured persons
✅ Safe storage and transport of cylinders

Rate EFR Instructor prepares you to independently conduct first aid training – both for divers and non-divers. It’s the perfect addition for the future Divemasters, PADI Instructors and all those who want to teach life-saving.
To become an EFR instructor you must:
✅ Have a current EFR Primary & Secondary Care certificate (max. 24 months)
✅ Complete the course EFR Instructor conducted by an EFR Instructor-Trainer
✅ Have basic communication skills and a willingness to teach others
