Scuba diving — PADI course

From the first dive to the certificate

If you want to check how to breathe underwater first, choose first PADI Discover Scuba Diving. When your goal is certification, start with PADI Open Water Diver Basic Course. Both programs are aimed at people starting their adventure with diving, but have a different scope and purpose.

How is the OWD course conducted in Olsztyn?

  1. Enquiry and enrolment: we agree on the calendar, requirements and size of the equipment.
  2. Theory: you are preparing on the PADI eLearning platform.
  3. Pool: Under the supervision of an instructor, you learn how to use equipment, buoyancy and diving procedures.
  4. Open water: you complete four training dives at an agreed location.
  5. Certification: After completing the program requirements, you receive the appropriate PADI certificate.

How much does OWD cost?

Course price: 2700 PLN. PADI eLearning materials cost extra 350 PLN, and the certificate 200 PLN. Materials are not included in the course price. When choosing a date, we will confirm the organizational details of the open water part.

Instructors and further development

Before the first class

Take a swimsuit, flip-flops, a towel, a swimming cap and drinking water to the swimming pool. You do not need your own set of diving equipment – we provide training equipment in accordance with the description of the selected course. Agree on the date, rules of entry to the facility and any documents before arrival.

FAQ

Is the entire course held in this swimming pool?

No. The pool is for learning skills; theory and open water diving are also required to complete OWD. Set a calendar for all stages with us.

Can I enroll my child?

OWD is available from the age of 10, with restrictions specific to the Junior level. Provide the participant’s age when registering and the instructor will discuss the conditions of participation.
